Glen Campbell—the “crystal voice” of country-pop—left behind a glittering legacy with hits like “Rhinestone Cowboy” and “Gentle on My Mind.” But fewer know that his youngest daughter, Ashley Campbell, also followed a musical path, bringing the banjo and a country–folk spirit to modern audiences.

Glen Campbell – The Legendary Father

Glen Campbell was both a singer and a master guitarist. He became a bridge between country and pop, elevating country to global recognition. With a career spanning more than 50 years, Glen won numerous Grammys and touched hearts with songs full of humanity and tenderness.

Ashley Campbell – The Sweet Sound of the Banjo

Born in 1986, Ashley is Glen Campbell’s youngest daughter. She began as a musician, performing with her father during his final years as he battled Alzheimer’s. From that intimate experience, she stepped forward with her own career, releasing “Remembering”, a deeply moving ballad written for her father. Her debut album The Lonely One (2018) further showcased her singing and banjo-playing talent.

One Family, Two Voices

If Glen Campbell represented the grandeur of country-pop in the 20th century, Ashley Campbell brings folk and bluegrass nuance into the 21st. Their father-daughter bond lives on in music, weaving memory into melody.
