12 final nights – and a farewell that will never repeat
After more than five decades, a legendary journey is nearing its end — not on a quiet note, but under the dazzling lights of Las Vegas. The Eagles, the timeless rock band that defined an era, are taking their final bows at the cutting-edge Sphere venue in a series of emotional shows aptly titled “The Long Goodbye.”
A long goodbye… with meaning in every chord
Since September 2024, the tour has drawn fans from around the globe. Now, from September to November 2025, the band will wrap up their historic 44-show run at the Sphere — a stage as monumental as the music itself.
Seeing Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, joined by Vince Gill and Deacon Frey (Glenn Frey’s son), standing side by side each night feels like flipping through a photo album of a generation’s youth. Fans aren’t just coming for the songs — they’re saying goodbye to memories, to moments, to time itself.
Even the guitars sound like goodbye
Within the immersive LED-covered dome, classics like Desperado, Take It to the Limit, and Hotel California echo with a new gravity. Every note seems heavier, more permanent — like this really is the last time.
This is also the first tour without long-time guitarist Steuart Smith, who stepped away due to Parkinsonism, passing the torch to Chris Holt. That change alone deepens the emotional weight of these final nights.
